You seriously got this mad because he didn't mention Nashville in the one sentence he threw out there about other teams Suter may go to? Mark said that a Red Wings' contingent going to Wisconsin is a good sign. He didn't say Suter is going to Detroit for sure. You just skim this or did you actually read it?

No question the Preds manhandled the Wings last season in the playoffs, and I don't think that was a surprise. You sound so sure that will continue. Almost nothing has happened in terms of big dominoes falling. Both teams could look quite a bit different than they do right now come October. Seems a bit early to be pounding your chest.

Nah. I stand by my statement. As long as David Poile and Barry Trotz are at the helm we'll make chicken salad from chicken s*** every time. Unfortunately, they have the incredible knack of making cordon bleu also into chicken salad. Not sure how they seem to be able to do that either.

Poile and Trotz have made the best out of their roster every year for sure. I know everyone, even Wings fans (me included), love to cast the doom and gloom on Detroit, but Holland is being aggressive right now. I know Lidstrom is gone, but in all fairness the Wings lost a little bit of Lidstrom each season for the past few years. His ice time went way down, he stopped playing the PK, and he lost a couple steps. I'd still rather have him playing right now, but this has been a transition for a few years.
